AI-Native Full-Stack Product Engineer
Location: Dubai, UAE
Company: Propwise
Employment Type: Full-time
About the rolePropwise is building AI-first real estate products, and we are looking for engineers who can take a feature from an idea to production completely independently.
This is not a role where you receive a frontend task, finish your component, and hand the rest to someone else.
We want engineers who can receive a requirement, understand the product problem, design the solution, implement the backend, web and mobile parts, integrate the AI layer where needed, test the complete flow, debug it, and ship it.
You should already have experience owning features from A to Z.
Core stack — requiredYou must be strong with:
- TypeScript
- React
- Next.js
- React Native
- Node.js
- REST APIs
- Databases and backend architecture
- Git and modern CI/CD workflows
These are requirements, not nice-to-haves.
What you’ll doYou will own complete product features from idea to production.
That can include:
- Understanding the requirement and identifying missing details
- Designing the technical approach
- Building backend APIs and database changes
- Building the web experience
- Building the mobile experience in React Native
- Integrating AI models, agents, tools and workflows
- Writing automated tests
- Testing the complete feature end-to-end
- Handling edge cases and failure scenarios
- Debugging across the entire stack
- Reviewing other engineers’ work
- Fixing issues discovered during review
- Shipping and validating the feature in production
We expect engineers to think beyond their individual code changes.
If a feature touches backend, web and mobile, you should be comfortable understanding and working across all three.
AI-native engineeringWe use AI coding tools extensively throughout our engineering workflow.
Claude Code and similar tools are part of how we build software every day.
We are looking for engineers who already know how to use AI effectively for:
- Implementation
- Architecture
- Debugging
- Refactoring
- Testing
- Code review
- Research
- Documentation
- Exploring unfamiliar parts of a codebase
But using AI is not enough.
You must understand the systems you are building well enough to know when the AI is wrong.
We value engineering judgment more than manual coding speed.
AI product experienceBecause Propwise is AI-first, you should be comfortable working with:
- LLM APIs
- AI agents
- Tool and function calling
- Structured outputs
- Prompt and context engineering
- AI workflows
- Skills and reusable agent capabilities
- Evals and regression testing for AI systems
- Observability and debugging of AI behavior
You do not need to be an AI researcher, but you should have real experience shipping AI-powered product features.
Data experienceSome features may also involve:
- Web scraping
- Data extraction
- Data cleaning
- Data normalization
- ETL pipelines
- Third-party APIs
- Large datasets
You should be comfortable working with data when the feature requires it.
The kind of engineer we wantWe are specifically looking for people who have experience being given something like:
“We want users to be able to do X.”And then taking responsibility for everything required to make X actually work.
You should naturally think about:
- What needs to change in the database?
- What API should exist?
- How should the web app behave?
- How should the mobile app behave?
- What happens when something fails?
- What permissions are required?
- What edge cases exist?
- How do we test this?
- How do we know it is actually production-ready?
We want builders with strong ownership.
Not engineers who stop when their individual part is finished.
What we’re looking for
- * Proven experience building and shipping full-stack products
- Strong TypeScript, React, Next.js, React Native and Node.js experience
- Experience owning features end-to-end
- Strong backend and API knowledge
- Strong understanding of databases and system design
- Experience building production AI/LLM features
- Strong use of AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or similar
- Strong debugging ability across multiple layers of a system
- Experience writing automated tests and validating complete user flows
- Ability to review AI-generated code critically
- Strong product thinking
- High ownership and independence
What we do NOT wantWe are not looking for someone who thinks:
“That is a backend task.”
“That is a mobile problem.”
“QA should test this.”
“My part works, so I’m done.”
We are looking for engineers who think:
“Give me the feature. I’ll understand it, build it across the stack, test it properly, and get it production-ready.”
Interview processOur technical interview reflects how we actually work.
You will be given a realistic product feature and allowed to use AI tools.
We will evaluate:
- How you understand the requirement
- How you break the problem down
- Your architecture decisions
- How you use AI
- Backend implementation
- Web implementation
- Mobile implementation
- Testing
- Edge-case handling
- Debugging
- Whether you can take the feature from idea to production-ready
No LeetCode-style interview.
We care much more about whether you can ship real products end-to-end.
Why PropwiseYou will work in a small, highly technical team with significant ownership.
You will not be limited to one part of the stack.
You will work across backend, web, mobile, AI and data, and help shape how an AI-native engineering team operates.
If your strongest skill is taking an idea and turning it into a working production feature from A to Z, we want to hear from you.
