Desired Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license, or eligibility, for the state
- Prior experience in a school-based setting with elementary and/or middle school students is strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and other team members
- Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and goal writing
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
Your Responsibilities
- * Conduct screenings, evaluations, and therapy sessions for students with a variety of speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students, ensuring goals are educationally relevant and attainable
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to create supportive learning plans and environments
- Maintain regular documentation of student progress, preparing necessary reports, and participating in IEP team meetings
- Offer guidance and support to teachers to integrate communication strategies into classroom activities
- Stay current on best practices and professional advancements within the field
