Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive role based in Masqaţ, Oman, focused primarily on the sales of excavators and related construction equipment. The Sales Executive will identify and qualify prospective customers, conduct site visits, and build strong relationships with contractors, fleet owners, and project managers. Daily responsibilities include preparing and delivering product presentations, preparing quotations and proposals, following up on leads, and negotiating terms in line with company policies. The role involves close coordination with the operations and service teams to schedule demonstrations, ensure timely delivery, and support after-sales service and customer satisfaction. The Sales Executive will also monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback, and provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
Qualifications
- * Proven experience in equipment sales, ideally in heavy machinery or construction equipment, with strong knowledge of excavators and related products.
- Solid customer relationship and business development skills, including prospecting, networking, and account management.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities, with confidence in interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Basic understanding of commercial terms, pricing, and financial considerations relevant to capital equipment sales.
- Ability to work independently in the field, manage time effectively, and meet or exceed sales targets.
- Familiarity with the construction industry in Oman or the Middle East, and willingness to travel locally for client meetings and site visits.
- Proficiency in standard office and CRM software for maintaining records, preparing reports, and tracking opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
- Valid driver’s license and eligibility to work in Oman.
