Job Purpose:
- Execute sales activities with a focus on effective time management, fostering customer relationships, and prospecting with focus on Northern Emirates market.
- Support the Sales Manager in driving sales strategy and executing other functional responsibilities that align with Holcim Group's commitment to sustainable building solutions and reinforcing its operations in the UAE.
- Ensures the delivery of volume targets, achieving revenue growth and profitability while collaborating with external stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and expand market share, contributing to Holcim’s mission of building progress for people and the planet.
- Support the Sales Manager in executing the RMX Commercial Strategy by collaborating with the sales team to drive revenue growth and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Monitor performance metrics and contribute to sales initiatives, ensuring that strategic objectives are met
- Elevates and strengthens the brand's image and reputation.
- Maintains an up-to-date understanding of emerging market trends and developments, enabling the formulation of strategic sales initiatives and the development of actionable plans to address market demands effectively.
- Delivers the best match in terms of quality and product, meeting customer needs while maximizing profitability and ensuring prompt collections
- Develop trade relations outreach related to a broad customer base in a sustainable commercial logic.
- Adapt and implement ongoing technological advancements, including new products and evolving regulatory standards, and modify work processes utilizing software tools.
- Reporting developments in the market and its activities and trends.
Job Responsibilities
- Achieves and surpasses sales volume, average selling price (ASP),and Margin over Materials (MOM),as per the company’s budget, ensuring timely collection
- Provide monthly updates on project backlog and sales forecasts and prepare reports accordingly
- Develop and implement action plans for prospecting to renew and optimize the sales portfolio consistently
- Gathers market intelligence to monitor market share trends for both the company and competitors
- Engages with customers and prospects through visits to assess their current and future needs and formulates strategies to address these requirements effectively
- Collaborates closely with the Value-Added Products (VAP) team to effectively promote and upsell while also establishing relationships with authorities and consultants
- Prepares and submits quotations in response to all tender, let and live requests from customers
- Engages in price negotiations, including volumes, additional services, and terms
- Should perform assessments to evaluate both individual and team sales successes and challenges
- To actively participate in sales meetings and provide comprehensive sales performance reports and market updates
- Master the techniques for effectively selling and presenting additional services and product
- Optimizes customer visits to enhance time management and efficiency
- Ensures the timely collection from customers' accounts and ensures that those adhere to the approved credit limits and payment periods set by the company
Level of education require
- University Degree
- Knowledge of the GCC/ UAE local market specific to Readymix industry
Specific work experience
- 5plus years of relevant experience in UAE
- RMX experience is preferred
