Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Engineer role based in Qesm 1st 6 October. The Sales Engineer will work closely with customers to understand technical requirements, prepare solutions and proposals, and support the sales process from initial inquiry through closing. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting technical presentations, responding to customer questions, coordinating with engineering and production teams, and ensuring that product specifications meet client needs. The role involves preparing quotations, following up on opportunities, providing post-sale technical support, and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective customers. The Sales Engineer will also contribute to market feedback, assist in identifying new business opportunities, and support continuous improvement of sales tools and materials.
Qualifications
- Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills to analyze customer requirements, configure solutions, and provide accurate product guidance.
- Sales and Customer Service skills to manage the sales cycle, nurture accounts, and ensure a positive client experience.
- Strong Communication skills to deliver clear presentations, write concise proposals, and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
- Relevant technical background in engineering (e.g., mechanical, civil, industrial, or related field), with the ability to understand construction and manufacturing processes.
- Experience working in B2C & B2B environments, preferably within construction, manufacturing, or industrial products.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and basic productivity tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentation software).
- Ability to work on-site, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and travel locally to customer locations as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline is preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
