The position focuses on managing existing key accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting currency-related technology solutions to banking sector, government entities, and other relevant organizations. Day-to-day tasks include developing and executing sales strategies, conducting client meetings and presentations, preparing proposals and quotations, and negotiating contracts. About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead revenue growth for our currency technology solutions. You will own the sales strategy for, building and managing relationships with commercial banks, financial institutions, payment providers, and enterprise clients. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both strategic vision and direct client engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Revenue Growth
· Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue targets
· Identify new market opportunities and build a qualified pipeline across target segments
· Own forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting to executive leadership
· Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and pricing dynamics to refine positioning
Client & Stakeholder Management
· Build and maintain senior relationships with commercial banks, financial institutions, and enterprise clients
· Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from prospecting through contract negotiation and close
· Serve as a trusted advisor on currency technology solutions, including [cash processing / authentication / FX / cross-border payments / API integration/ cash deposit solutions]
· Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and forums
Cross-Functional Collaboration
· Partner with Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Legal teams to shape solutions and close deals
· Translate client requirements into product feedback and go-to-market recommendations
· Coordinate with Customer Success to ensure smooth onboarding and retention
Team Leadership
· Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team
· Set clear targets, KPIs, and account plans; drive accountability and continuous improvement
Requirements
· 10+ years of enterprise sales experience, with at least 3–5 years in a sales leadership role
· Proven track record selling into commercial banks, financial institutions, payment providers, or fintech clients
· Experience managing long, complex sales cycles with multiple decision-makers
· Strong understanding of currency technology, including one or more of:
· Banknote production, authentication, or cash processing
· FX risk management and cross-border payments
· Payment APIs, embedded finance, or currency infrastructure
· Excellent negotiation, presentation, and executive communication skills
· Ability to travel internationally as required
· Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advance is adding value to the required position.
Preferred Qualifications
· Existing network within commercial banks, regulators, or tier-one financial institutions
· Experience with public sector or government procurement processes
· Familiarity with SaaS or subscription-based revenue models
· Additional language skills (French, English) a plus
