Role Description The Sales Consultant role is a full-time position based in Cairo, Egypt, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows some work from home. The Sales Consultant will identify customer needs, present suitable insurance and financial solutions, and support clients in selecting products that align with their goals. Daily responsibilities include meeting with prospective and existing customers, explaining MetLife’s offerings, preparing proposals, and following up to ensure a smooth onboarding process. The role involves maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, managing client relationships, and responding to inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner. The Sales Consultant will also collaborate with internal teams, stay informed about product updates and market trends, and meet agreed sales targets while adhering to company policies and ethical standards.
Qualifications
* Candidates should possess strong Sales Consulting skills, including the ability to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance and financial solutions.
* Candidates should possess Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service skills to build trust, address concerns, and ensure a positive client experience.
* Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, to clearly explain product features and benefits and engage effectively with diverse customers.
* Candidates should possess Consulting skills to provide guidance, analyze client situations, and support long-term financial planning.
* Relevant sales or insurance industry experience, preferably in life, health, or financial services, is highly beneficial.
* Ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage time effectively, and meet performance targets with minimal supervision.
* Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with a customer-centric mindset.
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
* Proficiency in basic office software and comfort using digital tools and CRM systems.
