Responsibilities
- * Implement and monitor HSE practices across GEC projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken.
- Develop and deliver safety training programs to educate employees on HSE practices and promote a culture of safety.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate HSE considerations into project planning and execution.
- Investigate and report on incidents and near misses, implementing preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of HSE activities, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in HSE to enhance our safety protocols.
- Liaise with external stakeholders, including government bodies and regulatory authorities, to ensure compliance.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams on HSE matters, offering solutions and recommendations.
Qualifications
- * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Safety Management, or a related field.
- 15 years total experience
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices, with the ability to interpret and apply them effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in using HSE management software and tools for documentation and reporting.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Valid professional certifications in safety engineering or HSE management (e.g., NEBOSH, CSP) are preferred.
- Experience in conducting safety audits and developing safety programs is an advantage.
