Job Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Delivery: Drive the product planning and implementation of Direct Stocks and Tokenized Stocks, covering core modules such as accounts, assets, trading, market data, clearing/settlement, and corporate actions.
- Vendor & Partner Integration: Partner with overseas brokers, clearing houses, custodians, and tokenized stock issuers to manage API integrations, design business workflows, execute end-to-end system testing, and launch products.
- US Stock Trading Capabilities: Design comprehensive US equity trading features, including:
- Order types: Market, Limit, and Conditional orders.
- Trading sessions: Pre-market, Regular hours, Post-market, and Overnight Trading.
- Fund management: Buying power, order freezes, execution debits, and unsettled cash management.
- Market data & protection: Quote displays, NBBO, price protection, and fallback mechanisms for anomalous market data.
- Corporate actions: Dividends, stock splits, reverse splits, mergers and acquisitions, and delistings.
- System & Financial Integration: Integrate Direct Stocks with the platform's existing account hierarchy, cash accounts, and trading engines. Design end-to-end financial workflows including deposits, FX conversions, transfers, settlements, reconciliations, and withdrawal restrictions.
- mStocks Mechanism Design: Formulate the product mechanics for mStocks, covering tokenized stock issuance, redemptions, minting/burning, asset custody, price pegging, liquidity, and on-chain trading workflows.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with Compliance, Legal, Finance, Risk Management, R&D, and Operations to enforce multi-jurisdictional product approvals, user suitability frameworks, and risk management strategies.
- Market Intelligence: Continuously research and produce competitor analysis reports and product iteration roadmaps.
Job Requirements
- Professional Experience: 3+ years of experience in trading products, with a strong background in US stocks, securities trading, brokerage services, tokenized stocks, or RWA (Real World Assets) products.
- Industry Domain Knowledge: Deep familiarity with the Direct Stocks business model and the distinct roles of Brokers, Introducing Brokers, Clearing Brokers, Custodians, and Market Makers.
Core Securities Workflows:
Proficient in core securities trading processes, including:
- Orders, Fills, Positions, and Buying Power.
- T+1 Settlement and Unsettled Cash management.
- Omnibus Accounts and Sub-accounts.
- Pre-funding, Net Settlement, and Reconciliation.
- Corporate Actions and Dividend Tax rules.
US Market Mechanics: Thorough understanding of US trading sessions, order types, Time in Force (TIF), circuit breakers, NBBO, SIP market data, and price protection mechanisms.
Tokenization Architecture: Solid grasp of the business architecture for Tokenized Stocks / mStocks, including on-chain issuance, asset reserves, redemptions, liquidity management, and price pegging mechanisms.
System Design Skills: Strong systematic product design capabilities with a proven track record of independently designing business workflows, product architectures, state machines, exception handling, and reconciliation frameworks.
Language Proficiency: Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to interface directly with overseas brokers, vendors, and partner institutions to drive requirements and resolve complex issues.
Execution & Attitude: Highly analytical regarding trading details and fund safety, with exceptional cross-functional alignment and complex project management capabilities.
