Role Description The Retail Sales Team Leader is a full-time, on-site role based across Al Shal Automotive Group showrooms in Nasr City, El Shorouk City, Ismailia Desert Road, Suez, and Tanta. The individual in this position will oversee showroom sales operations, supervise and guide the sales team, and ensure daily target follow-up while reporting branch performance directly to head office. The Team Leader will drive sales of key brands—including Chevrolet, MG, Peugeot, Opel, Changan, Mitsubishi, and Proton—by ensuring excellent customer service, smooth financing and insurance processes, accurate reporting, and the achievement of assigned monthly unit targets.
Responsibilities
· Lead, supervise, and mentor the showroom sales team to achieve individual and branch monthly unit targets.
· Conduct daily target follow-up meetings, monitor pipeline conversion, and manage showroom sales activities.
· Generate regular sales reports, analyze KPIs using Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP), and report branch performance directly to head office.
· Guide the team through complex customer inquiries, contract negotiations, and vehicle delivery procedures.
· Ensure team members maintain accurate customer and lead data in CRM and sales tracking systems.
· Oversee the end-to-end sales cycle, ensuring seamless coordination between sales representatives, Finance, Insurance, and Service departments.
· Ensure the sales team maintains up-to-date product knowledge across Chevrolet, MG, Peugeot, Opel, Changan, Mitsubishi, Proton, and other supported brands.
· Maintain high standards of customer service, professional appearance, and overall showroom management.
· Handle customer complaints or escalated concerns professionally to ensure timely resolution and high satisfaction.
Requirements
· Car sales experience is mandatory—candidate must come from an automotive dealership or authorized automotive distributor (general retail experience is not acceptable).
· Minimum 2+ years of experience supervising or leading a showroom sales team within the automotive industry.
· Proven track record of consistently hitting monthly unit targets, with clear performance numbers and metrics to discuss.
· Demonstrated experience running daily target follow-up, pulling sales reports, and reporting branch performance to head office.
· Good command of English (spoken and written), particularly for technical, automotive, and reporting requirements.
· Intermediate Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including hands-on experience with Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.
· Valid driving license.
· Strong leadership, communication, and target-driven mindset, with the ability to work retail hours, including weekends.
