Regional Commercial Manager – Maghreb
Location: Casablanca, Morocco
Reporting To: Regional Managing Manager – North Africa
Region Covered: Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, and Mauritania
Position Summary
The Regional Commercial Manager - Maghreb is responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth, profitability, market expansion, and customer acquisition across the Maghreb region. The role will lead the commercial strategy and execution across Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, and Mauritania, ensuring alignment with Aramex's regional and global growth objectives.
The position will oversee all commercial activities while building high-performing sales teams, strengthening customer relationships, and identifying new market opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute the Maghreb commercial strategy in line with Aramex's regional and global objectives.
- Drive profitable revenue growth across all business lines.
- Identify new market opportunities, verticals, trade lanes, and strategic partnerships.
- Build and implement country-specific growth plans while ensuring regional alignment.
- Support the "One Maghreb" commercial approach to maximize cross-border opportunities.
Revenue Growth & Business Development
Sales Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop country commercial teams.
- Drive sales excellence through structured sales management and pipeline governance.
- Monitor sales productivity, conversion rates, lead generation, and customer retention.
- Implement best practices across all countries and business units.
- Foster a high-performance and accountability culture.
Customer Management
- Strengthen relationships with key accounts and strategic customers.
- Ensure customer retention and growth through value-added solutions.
- Conduct regular executive business reviews with major customers.
- Drive customer satisfaction and Net Promoter Score (NPS) improvements.
- Support resolution of major customer escalations when required.
Financial Performance
- Deliver budgeted revenue, gross profit, and EBITDA targets.
- Monitor commercial profitability by customer, product, and country.
- Ensure healthy sales pipeline conversion and margin management.
- Support receivables collection and credit management initiatives.
- Collaborate with Finance to improve commercial efficiency and profitability.
Regional Collaboration
- Work closely with Operations, Product, Finance, HR, Customer Experience, and Marketing teams.
- Support regional and global commercial initiatives.
- Ensure consistent commercial standards and reporting across the Maghreb region.
- Promote collaboration between countries to maximize network opportunities.
Performance Management
- Establish and track KPIs across all commercial functions.
- Conduct regular business reviews with country management teams.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual commercial performance reports.

Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related field.
- MBA preferred.
