Job SummaryIIQAF Group is seeking a skilled and patient-focused Radiographer to join our hospital team in Dubai. The Radiographer will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations, operating radiography equipment, producing high-quality diagnostic images, and supporting physicians and radiologists in the diagnosis and management of patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-ray and radiographic examinations according to physician or radiologist requests.
- Review imaging requests and verify patient identity, examination requirements, and relevant clinical information.
- Prepare patients for radiographic procedures and explain examination processes clearly and professionally.
- Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Operate digital radiography (DR), computed radiography (CR), X-ray machines, and related diagnostic imaging equipment.
- Communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians, nurses, technicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Protect patient confidentiality and comply with hospital policies regarding medical information and records.
- Respond appropriately to urgent and emergency imaging requests according to hospital procedures.
- Follow UAE healthcare regulations, hospital policies, radiation safety requirements, and professional standards.
Required Qualifications
- * Bachelor's degree, diploma, or recognized qualification in Radiography, Medical Imaging, Diagnostic Radiography, or a related field.
- Valid professional license/registration required to practice as a Radiographer in the UAE, as applicable.
- Previous experience as a Radiographer, Diagnostic Radiographer, X-Ray Technologist, Radiologic Technologist, or Medical Imaging Technologist.
- Practical experience performing diagnostic X-ray and radiographic examinations.
- Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning, exposure techniques, image evaluation, and radiation protection.
- Experience with digital radiography systems and healthcare imaging technology.
- Hospital, diagnostic imaging center, clinic, or medical center experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of PACS, RIS, electronic medical records, and digital image management systems is an advantage.
- Current training in radiation protection and healthcare safety is preferred.
- Knowledge of infection prevention and patient safety procedures.
