About the Role
NAGA Architects, Engineers, Designers & Planners is seeking a Quantity Surveyor & Specifications Engineer (Infrastructure) to join our growing Infrastructure team in Egypt. This role will be responsible for quantity surveying activities and preparing technical specifications for wet and dry utility infrastructure projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate quantity take-offs from Autodesk Revit models for infrastructure projects.
- Develop, modify, and maintain technical specification sections in accordance with CSI MasterFormat and MasterSpec standards.
- Support the preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and quantity estimates for infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary design teams to ensure quantities and specifications are aligned with project requirements.
- Review design documentation to ensure consistency between drawings, specifications, and quantity take-offs.
- Assist in the preparation and review of tender and contract documentation.
- Ensure all specifications comply with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
- Support project teams throughout the design and tender stages by providing quantity surveying and specification expertise.
- Maintain organized project documentation and contribute to continuous process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- 3–5 years of experience in quantity surveying and specifications, preferably within infrastructure projects.
- Experience working on wet and dry utility infrastructure projects.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
- Strong understanding of Wet & Dry Infrastructure Networks.
- Experience preparing and modifying CSI Specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
