Role Purpose
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial management of construction projects across QP's international portfolio. Working alongside senior QS professionals and project leads, you will gain hands-on exposure to the full project lifecycle, from early estimates and bills of quantities through to valuations and final account, across residential, commercial, hospitality, and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing bills of quantities, estimates, and cost plans.
- Assist in the preparation and evaluation of tender packages, including tender comparisons, commercial clarifications and recommendation reports.
- Support monthly valuations, payment certifications, and the review and assessment of variations/change orders.
- Help maintain accurate project records, logs, and QS documentation.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams under the guidance of senior staff.
- Follow QP's procedures, standards, and document management protocols.
- Assist in reviewing structural and finishes designs to support the compilation of Bills of Quantities.
- Help prepare documentation to confirm adjustments to tender sums and support the upkeep of final account records.
What You Bring
- A degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Engineering, or a recognised equivalent qualification.
- Proficiency and working experience on international methods of measurement including RICS POMI (Principles of Measurement International) and the NRM (New Rules of Measurement).
- Some practical QS experience through placements, internships, or early career roles is an advantage.
- Previous experience within a Quantity Surveying / Cost Management consultancy would be considered a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with AutoCAD or BIM tools is a plus
