We are looking for a Quality Control Chemist with experience in laboratory testing and quality assurance within a manufacturing environment. Candidates with India experience are acceptable.
Key Responsibilities
- Test raw materials, intermediate blends, and finished construction chemical products in a laboratory environment.
- Perform quality checks for consistency, viscosity, pH, strength, and other relevant parameters.
- Issue Certificates of Analysis (CoA) for production batches.
- Maintain laboratory records, testing logs, and control-sample tracking.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, safety procedures, and MSDS requirements.
- Investigate abnormal test results, product deviations, and customer complaints.
- Conduct basic root cause analysis and support corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain, clean, verify, and calibrate laboratory testing equipment.
- Coordinate with Production and Quality teams to ensure products meet required specifications before release.
- Support internal and external quality audits when required.
- Ensure laboratory testing is completed accurately and on time to avoid production delays.
Candidate Requirements
- BSc / MSc in Chemistry.
- Preferred specialization in:
- Polymer Chemistry
- Industrial Chemistry
- Material Science / Materials Chemistry
- Previous experience in Quality Control / Laboratory Testing / Construction Chemicals / Chemical Manufacturing preferred.
- Good understanding of raw-material and finished-product testing.
- Knowledge of CoA, MSDS, ISO procedures, calibration, and laboratory documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to investigate quality deviations and support corrective actions.
- India experience is acceptable.
