QA/QC Supervisor
Location: Zeit Bay, Egypt
Contract Type: Annually Renewable Contract
Rotation: 4 weeks on, 4 weeks off

Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Provide QC expertise during fabrication.
- Lead the QC team on site and liaise with Contractor QC and Fabrication Manager during SOW execution.
- Physically oversee and monitor the execution of structure fabrication and report to EPCI Fabrication Manager at the yard in Egypt on technical matters related to the execution, and liaise with project Quality Manager as required.
- Manage the quality aspects of Material, Welding and NDE activities during the Project Construction Phase.
- Ensure all quality records are complete and document acceptance of the structure fabrication in accordance with approved ITPs and Company BoD and Specifications.
- Respect HSE rules and requirements and ensure that the design and resulting operations are performed in compliance with Health, Safety, Security and Environmental requirements.
Requirements
- College degree.
- Valid welding inspector certificate (CWIP or similar).
- Preference for valid NDE certification based on ISO or ASNT Standards.
- 15+ years' experience working for consulting engineers or oil and gas exploration/production companies with a proven track record in similar positions.
- Specialization in QC, Material, Welding and NDE, and Coating.
- Experience in QC audits of construction yards related to Material, Welding and NDE, and Coating.
- Fully familiar with Pipeline and Structure Codes such as API 1104, DnVGL-ST-F101, ASME, AWS D 1.1.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal direction.
- Innovative, self-motivated, and able to work and contribute to a team environment.
- Comfortable in an environment where attention to detail is critical.
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem identification and resolution.
- Fluent English required.
