Medior+ Python Developer
I’m currently working with an established technology business that is looking for a Medior+ Python Developer with strong backend/API experience to join their development team.
A great opportunity for someone who enjoys building modern applications, working with new technologies and taking real ownership of their work.
The Role
- Develop, test and deploy Python applications and services
- Build and maintain backend/API functionality
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Work closely with other teams on new functionality
- Support and mentor junior developers
- Contribute to technical improvements and new technologies
- Take ownership of work within a 24/7 production environment

- Kubernetes (K8s)
- GitLab Runners / Continuous Deployment
- OpenTofu / Infrastructure as Code
- Cloud-based SaaS
What we need
- 3+ years’ Python development experience
- Strong backend/API development background
- Good Linux knowledge
- Experience with SQLAlchemy and OpenAPI
- Experience with Kubernetes is a plus
- Event-driven architecture experience is beneficial
- Travel, airline or ticketing industry experience is a bonus
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Strong ownership and responsibility in production environments
