Job Summary
We are looking for a Proxy & Email Security Engineer to manage secure web proxy, web filtering, and email security gateway solutions while ensuring secure and reliable access to internet and email services.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and manage secure web proxy and web filtering solutions.
- Manage URL filtering, access policies, and internet security controls.
- Configure and maintain email security gateways.
- Manage email filtering, anti-spam, anti-malware, and security policies.
- Monitor and troubleshoot proxy and email security incidents.
- Investigate blocked websites, email delivery issues, and security events.
- Perform policy changes, upgrades, and system maintenance.
- Support security investigations and incident resolution.
- Maintain system documentation and operational procedures.
- Coordinate with network, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in proxy, web, or email security.
- Experience managing enterprise web proxy and email security solutions.
- Good understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, SMTP, TCP/IP, and network security.
- Knowledge of email security, filtering, anti-spam, and anti-malware technologies.
- Relevant certifications are preferred:
- Zscaler certification
- Cisco Secure Email
- Microsoft Security certification
- Vendor-specific proxy/email security certification
