We’re Hiring: Project Planning & Estimation Engineer
A leading company specialized in General Maintenance and Technical Services is looking for a Project Planning & Estimation Engineer to join our team in Amman, Jordan.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and quotations for maintenance and technical projects.
- Review project requirements, drawings, specifications, and scope of work.
- Prepare quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
- Estimate materials, labor, equipment, and other project costs.
- Develop project work plans, schedules, and execution methods.
- Coordinate with technical teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing.
- Ensure project estimates are aligned with scope, budget, and expected execution requirements.
- Monitor project progress and update plans and cost estimates when required.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals.
- Support the project team throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience in project estimation, costing, planning, or maintenance projects.
- Strong knowledge of quantity surveying and BOQ preparation.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD.
- Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
