Project Manager - Gas Projects
Gas Sector Only | Basra
Raban Al Safina for Oil & Gas Projects is seeking a Project Manager for gas-sector projects in Basra. Direct gas-project experience is essential; general construction or oil-only experience does not meet the sector requirement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead gas-project execution from scope definition and mobilization through construction, commissioning interfaces and handover.
- Develop and control integrated schedules, budgets, procurement priorities and resource plans.
- Coordinate process, mechanical, piping, civil, electrical, instrumentation and control disciplines.
- Manage contractors, vendor deliverables, site interfaces, progress measurement and corrective action.
- Oversee project risk, change control, quality records, completion systems and client acceptance.
- Maintain safe execution through effective coordination of process safety, permits, isolations and simultaneous operations where applicable.
Requirements
- Substantial, direct project management experience in gas processing, treatment, compression, gathering or transmission infrastructure.
- Evidence of leading gas projects through significant execution stages, with clear responsibility for cost, schedule and delivery.
- Strong understanding of gas-facility interfaces, commissioning readiness and safe handover.
- Practical capability in planning, contractor management, technical coordination and commercial change management.
- Ability to work at project locations in Basra and lead site-based multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred: A relevant engineering degree; experience with EPC gas projects, sour-gas environments or brownfield interfaces relevant to the assigned scope.
