Job DescriptionAbout the roleThe Project Manager is responsible for managing and delivering multidisciplinary technical projects within Engineering. The role combines Life Cycle Management of the existing machine portfolio with development projects for new functionalities and products. The Project Manager creates structure, drives progress and decision-making, and connects Engineering, Procurement, Production, Service, Quality, and external suppliers to ensure projects are delivered effectively and machines continue to meet high quality and performance standards.
What You’ll Do
- * Manage technical projects from initiation through implementation, ensuring scope, timing, priorities, and project objectives are achieved.
- Lead Life Cycle Management projects for the existing machine portfolio, including engineering changes and product improvements.
- Manage development projects for new machine functionalities and products.
- Create project structure and planning, and actively monitor progress, risks, dependencies, and required decisions.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams involving Engineering, Procurement, Production, Service, Quality, and external suppliers.
- Ensure clear communication and alignment between stakeholders and drive decision-making when required.
- Work closely with Operations and Service to ensure project outcomes are successfully implemented and machines continue to perform optimally.
- Identify opportunities to improve project processes, ways of working, and cross-functional collaboration.
What You’ll Need
- * A completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (HBO/WO level), preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Design, or a comparable technical field.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Project Manager in a technical or industrial environment.
- Strong planning, organizational, and prioritization skills in a dynamic environment.
- The ability to switch effectively between technical detail and a helicopter view.
- Strong analytical skills, a structured way of working, and a result-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to align stakeholders, create commitment, and make decisions.
- Good command of both Dutch and English, written and spoken.
Nice to have
- * Experience with product development and/or engineering change or Life Cycle Management projects.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary engineering teams within a machine-building or high-tech manufacturing environment.
