Role Description The Project Engineer role at Mona Trading LLC is a full-time position based in Cairo, Egypt, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows some work from home. The Project Engineer will manage and support engineering projects from concept through execution, including project planning, technical design review, and coordination of electrical engineering activities. Daily tasks include preparing project documentation, monitoring schedules and budgets, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and client requirements. The role also involves identifying technical risks, proposing solutions, supporting site activities when needed, and providing regular progress reports to project management. The Project Engineer will contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and uphold company quality and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Project Engineering and Electrical Engineering skills to oversee technical design, implementation, and coordination of project tasks.
- Candidates should possess Project Management and Project Planning skills to manage timelines, resources, budgets, and project documentation.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, and clients, and to present technical information clearly.
- Relevant engineering degree (e.g., Electrical Engineering or related field) and experience in industrial, construction, or oil & gas projects are highly beneficial.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications, familiarity with applicable industry standards, and proficiency with engineering and project management software are preferred.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to work both independently and within a team in a hybrid work environment.
