Ensuring coordinated execution, schedule and budget control, quality, safety. The Projects Director leads the Project Delivery team, manages consultants and subcontractors, controls portfolio risks and resources, and reports project performance and critical issues to the General Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
Monitor all active projects, schedules, budgets, teams, consultants, quality and handover activities.
Lead the Project Delivery Department and coordinate Project Managers / Engineers and supporting functions.
Review baseline programmes, milestones, look-ahead schedules and recovery plans; intervene early where delay risk is identified.
Chair project review meetings, assign actions, resolve escalated issues and report critical decisions to the General Manager.
Manage resource allocation and coordinate Design & Technical, MEP, QS / Commercial, Procurement and Document Control support.
Manage client, consultant, operator, landlord, subcontractor and supplier coordination at project-delivery level.
Ensure variations, claims, delay events and EOT entitlements are identified, documented and commercially recovered.
Drive inspections, NCR closure, snagging, testing, commissioning, handover and project close-out documentation.
Ensure project teams maintain RF safety, quality, attendance, housekeeping and reporting standards.
work Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, MEP Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
Project-management certification and/or Kuwait Society of Engineers membership is an advantage.
Minimum 15 years of progressive construction and/or fit-out project-delivery experience, including at least 7 years in senior project management or multi-project leadership.
Strong practical experience in fit-out, MEP coordination, subcontractor management, cost control, client/consultant coordination and handover.
