Role Overview
Our client, an EPC contractor working on an ADNOC onshore project, is seeking an experienced Project Control Manager to lead and coordinate project controls activities across the project.
The role will focus on effective management of schedule, cost, forecasting, progress measurement and overall project performance throughout EPC execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate project controls activities across the project.
- Manage project planning, scheduling, cost control, forecasting and progress measurement.
- Monitor overall project performance against approved schedules, budgets and project objectives.
- Coordinate project controls activities across engineering, procurement, construction and commercial functions.
- Monitor schedule and cost variances and support development of corrective and recovery actions.
- Support Earned Value Management (EVM) and project performance analysis.
- Coordinate risk management and change management activities from a project controls perspective.
- Support project forecasting and estimate-to-complete activities.
- Prepare and coordinate project controls reports for management and relevant stakeholders.
- Participate in project progress reviews and management meetings.
- Maintain appropriate project controls documentation and reporting systems.
Requirements
- 15–20 years of relevant professional experience in project controls within major projects.
- Strong experience within Oil & Gas, EPC or major industrial projects.
- Previous ADNOC project experience is mandatory.
- Previous ADNOC approval as a Project Control Manager is an advantage.
- Strong experience in planning, scheduling, cost control, forecasting and progress measurement.
- Good understanding of Earned Value Management, risk management and change management.
- Experience managing project controls across multidisciplinary EPC environments.
- PMP, AACE CCP, PSP, PMI-SP or equivalent professional certification will be considered an advantage.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have extensive project controls experience within Oil & Gas EPC projects, with strong capability across schedule, cost and project performance management and previous ADNOC project exposure.
