Job Responsibilities:
- Operate Fabric/Rubber Calender machines efficiently and safely.
- Run the machine at supplier-rated speed while maintaining product quality.
- Monitor auto bank, surge and feed mill operations.
- Handle extruder, mills, let-off and wind-up operations.
- Operate and monitor Calender let-off systems.
- Maintain fabric gauge and calender skim as per specifications.
- Adjust calender roll gap according to fabric gauge.
- Identify and resolve minor machine/process issues.
- Monitor machine parameters and ensure smooth production.
- Minimize scrap generation and ensure consistent product quality.
- Follow safety, quality and production procedures.
Candidate Profile:
- Experience in tyre/rubber manufacturing, preferably in the Semi-Finishing / Calendering section.
- Hands-on experience operating Fabric/Rubber Calender machines.
- Experience with Comerio Ercole Calender will be highly preferred.
- Good understanding of textile fabric calendering and rubber compound processing.
- Ability to independently operate and monitor the complete calendering process.
