- Monitor and support daily production activities to ensure production targets are achieved.
- Ensure machines and production equipment are operating efficiently and safely.
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues affecting production.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance team to reduce equipment breakdowns and downtime.
- Analyze production problems and implement effective mechanical solutions.
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities for production machinery.
- Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reliability.
- Participate in the installation, commissioning, modification, and improvement of production equipment.
- Assist in optimizing production processes, machine settings, and workflow.
- Ensure production activities comply with company quality, safety, and environmental standards.
- Prepare and maintain technical reports, maintenance records, and production-related documentation.
- Work closely with operators to identify recurring machine and production issues.
- Provide technical guidance and support to machine operators when required.
- Participate in root-cause analysis and corrective action activities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, downtime, and production costs.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and machinery.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and HSE requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial production environment is preferred.
- Good knowledge of mechanical equipment, machinery, and production processes.
- Experience in troubleshooting mechanical problems.
- Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance principles.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
