We're hiring a Production Agronomist in Egypt, to lead safe and efficient production operations by applying strong agronomic and process expertise. In this role, you'll analyze challenges, provide operational guidance, coordinate with supply chain and key stakeholders, and help drive quality, performance, and continuous improvement.
Be responsible for managing and monitoring parent seed production fields to ensure high-quality hybrid seed production. You will oversee field operations, crop development, pollination activities, quality standards, and coordination with growers to achieve production targets.
Key Responsibilities
- * Monitor daily activities in parent seed production fields.
- Ensure proper planting, irrigation, fertilization, and pest management practices.
- Supervise detasseling and pollination operations to maintain genetic purity.
- Conduct field inspections and crop evaluations throughout the growing season.
- Coordinate with growers, field staff, and agronomists to execute production plans.
- Collect and analyze field data, including plant population, flowering synchronization, and yield estimates.
- Ensure compliance with seed quality standards and certification requirements.
- Identify and resolve field production issues affecting yield or seed quality.
- Prepare production reports and maintain accurate field records.
- Support harvesting, seed processing, and post-harvest activities.
- May supervise team members.

Qualifications And Required Skills
- * Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Crop Science, or a related field.
- Experience in seed production, field operations, or crop management.
- Knowledge of corn hybrid seed production processes.
- Agronomy knowledge and understanding of agronomic practices and seed quality standards.
- Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Data Analysis and Reporting.
- Team Coordination.
- Microsoft Excel and Agricultural Data Systems.
- Fluency in English both spoken and written.
- Valid driver's license.
