- Managing and handling the tender process for all procurement packages.
- Studying and reviewing the tender documents (Drawings, specs, ...).
- Preparing and issuing the RFPs and the RFQs to contractors and suppliers.
- Communicate the package details with the legal team to prepare the contract template.
- Inviting and categorizing the participating bidders.
- Preparing a comparative analysis to review the submitted quotations.
- Prepare the cost estimate for the package and benchmark prices.
- Negotiating the prices and the commercial offers with contractors, consultants and suppliers.
- Reviewing received offers to achieve a cost saving with respect to quality and time.
- Evaluating bids (prices, payment terms, …).
- Handle all queries received from the tenderers & ensure clear replies are circulated to all tenderers.
- Preparing recommendation and procurement reports.
- Communicate the final agreed contract terms with the legal team to prepare the contract agreement.
- Performing a value engineering study.
- Preparing the purchasing orders.
- Internally coordinating and maintaining projects schedules within the department.
Requirements:
- BSc of Civil/Architectural Engineering.
- A Contractor Background is preferred.
- 6-8 Years of experience in cost estimation & Procurement.
- Excellent command of English.
- Excellent knowledge of MS office, Excel & Auto Cad.
- Strong analytical, critical, and logical thinking skills.
- Multitasking skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong Negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Market knowledge in sourcing of materials and services.
