We are looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist with a strong background in the UAE construction industry to join our team in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle end-to-end procurement of construction materials, equipment and services.
• Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, availability and delivery timelines.
• Prepare and manage RFQs, quotations, comparison sheets and purchase orders.
• Negotiate competitive pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with Project, Engineering, Commercial, Finance and Site teams.
• Maintain and develop a strong database of approved suppliers and vendors.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve procurement or delivery issues.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining required quality and specifications.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts and documentation.
Requirements:
• Proven procurement experience within the UAE construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials and the UAE supplier/vendor market.
• Excellent sourcing, negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Good understanding of RFQs, LPOs/POs and procurement procedures.
• Strong communication, coordination and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment and manage multiple requirements.
⚠️ UAE construction procurement experience is mandatory.
