King’s College Hospital London, Dubai is looking for an experienced Pre-Authorization RCM Administrator to join our Revenue Cycle Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for obtaining insurance approvals, verifying coverage and benefits, and coordinating with internal departments and insurance providers to ensure timely patient services and revenue cycle efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and submit inpatient and outpatient pre-authorization requests.
- Verify insurance eligibility, coverage, and benefits.
- Liaise with insurance companies, physicians, nurses, and administrative teams to obtain approvals and resolve authorization-related queries.
- Track and follow up on authorization requests within agreed turnaround times.
- Ensure compliance with payer requirements and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all authorization activities.
- Assist with insurance-related clarifications and cost estimate requests when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a Medical, Healthcare, or Paramedical field.
- Minimum 2 years of pre-authorization experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification is required.
- Strong knowledge of insurance policies, medical terminology, and prior authorization processes.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment and manage multiple priorities.
