EPMO Governance & Project Delivery Resources
1. Position Overview
The organization is seeking EPMO Governance and Project Delivery resources to support the governance, monitoring, reporting, coordination, and delivery oversight of strategic projects and portfolios.
The resources will operate within the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) governance framework and will be responsible for ensuring that assigned projects are appropriately governed, progress is accurately reported, risks and issues are actively managed, and actions and decisions are followed through to closure.

Required Experience
4–8 years of relevant experience in project management, PMO/EPMO, project governance, or project delivery.
Role Purpose
The Associate Governance Specialist will govern assigned projects, coordinate delivery follow-up, maintain project governance documentation, and support portfolio reporting under the direction of the EPMO Governance Senior Specialist.
The role requires strong attention to detail, stakeholder coordination, analytical judgment, and the ability to proactively follow up on project commitments and escalate exceptions.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain project plans, trackers, milestone schedules, RAID logs, decision logs, action registers, dependency registers, and supporting documentation.
- Monitor project progress against approved plans and milestones.
- Track overdue actions and deliverables and follow up with accountable owners.
- Identify project delays, risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery constraints.
- Support mitigation and recovery planning and monitor actions through closure.
- Lead or facilitate assigned project status and governance meetings.
- Prepare agendas, meeting materials, minutes, action logs, and follow-up communications.
- Document project decisions and ensure appropriate owners and target dates are recorded.
- Escalate material exceptions, unresolved issues, and overdue actions through the appropriate governance channels.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad hoc project status updates.
- Support the preparation of dashboards and executive presentations.
- Validate project information for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
- Coordinate business and technology stakeholders.
- Support consolidation of project information for portfolio-level reporting.
- Provide timely information and analysis to the EPMO Governance Senior Specialist.
- Ensure project documentation is maintained in accordance with EPMO standards and governance requirements.
Mandatory Qualifications and Experience
Candidates must meet all of the following requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
- 4–8 years of relevant experience in project management, PMO/EPMO, project governance, or project delivery.
- Active PMP certification.
- Certification number or verifiable credential must be provided.
- Proven experience in the financial sector, including banking, FinTech, financial services, or another financial institution.
- Proven experience leading/managing both:
- Technical projects, and
- Business projects.
- Proven experience in project governance and delivery management, including plans, milestones, status reporting, RAID, decisions, actions, escalations, and delivery follow-up.
- Proven cross-functional stakeholder management experience involving business, technology, and relevant control/support functions.
- Strong English communication skills, including meeting facilitation, written reporting, and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Arabic fluency is strongly preferred for stakeholder engagement and meeting facilitation.
- Additional PMO, project management, Agile/Scrum, or related certifications are advantageous.
