PLANT LOGISTICS MANAGER

This position is based at our manufacturing plant in Morocco, where you will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth of a dynamic and rapidly evolving organization.
The successful candidate will join the Operations function and will be responsible for managing and optimizing all plant logistics flows, ensuring material availability for production, warehouse efficiency and on-time delivery to customers, within a constantly evolving multinational automotive environment.
Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Planning, coordinating and monitoring inbound logistics flows, internal material handling and finished product shipments;
- Ensuring the availability of materials required for production and the reliability of warehouse inventory;
- Coordinating goods receipt, storage, material handling, shipping and transportation activities;
- Working closely with Production, Production Planning, Purchasing, Quality and Group Supply Chain to ensure operational continuity and compliance with customer requirements;
- Monitoring and optimizing stock levels, reducing working capital and improving inventory accuracy;
- Managing relationships with carriers, logistics providers and external partners;
- Ensuring compliance with customs regulations and import/export procedures;
- Monitoring key logistics KPIs and promoting corrective actions and continuous improvement projects in line with Lean principles;
- Leading and developing the logistics team, supporting professional growth and skills development.
Requirements
- Degree in Management Engineering, Economics or an equivalent technical qualification;
- At least 5 years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain or Material Management roles within structured manufacturing companies, preferably in the automotive sector;
- Strong knowledge of industrial logistics processes, warehouse management, material planning and transportation management;
- Experience in logistics KPI management and continuous improvement projects;
- Good Knowledge Microsoft Office
- Good knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is preferred;
- Good command of English; knowledge of French and Arabic will be considered an advantage;
- Availability for occasional short business trips.
