We are looking for an experienced Planning Engineer with a strong background in the UAE construction industry to join our team in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, baseline programs and work plans
• Prepare project timelines, resource plans, look-ahead schedules and progress reports
• Monitor actual project progress against approved schedules and identify delays or deviations
• Perform critical path analysis and highlight potential project risks and bottlenecks
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, Procurement and Site teams
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports for management
• Track manpower, materials, equipment and project milestones
• Support recovery and mitigation planning for delayed activities
• Attend project progress meetings and provide schedule updates
• Maintain accurate planning documentation throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Proven experience as a Planning Engineer within the UAE construction industry
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, project scheduling and progress monitoring
• Good understanding of critical path, resource planning and delay analysis
• Excellent analytical, reporting and coordination skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment
⚠️ UAE construction experience is mandatory.
