Position Summary
Provides direct patient care by offering appropriate treatments according to age and condition. Actively seeks to improve knowledge and skills of self and others. Provides appropriate leadership. Meets clinical productivity standards. Meets competency requirements. Will also be involved in team dynamics and participate in interdisciplinary activities when appropriate.
Minimum RequirementsGraduation with Associate Degree as Physical Therapist Assistant from an APTA accredited school.
Current licensure or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant by The North Carolina Board of Physical Therapy Examiner is required.
3 years or less of licensure is required
Associate Degree or higher
Preferred RequirementsPrior Physical Therapist Assistant experience in hospital.
