üéØ JOB PURPOSE
Lead and develop the engineering team responsible for Physical Security and Fire Alarm design across complex mega projects.
The role will act as a senior technical authority across CCTV/VMS, Access Control, Intrusion & Perimeter Security, PSIM, Security Communications and Fire Alarm/Life Safety, ensuring high-quality, compliant and constructible engineering deliverables.
üîë KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead and manage Physical Security & Fire Alarm engineering teams across multiple projects.
• Review and approve engineering designs, calculations, drawings, BOQs, technical submittals and shop drawings.
• Establish engineering standards, QA/QC procedures, design checklists and technical practices.
• Manage resources, workloads, priorities and delivery schedules across concurrent projects.
• Coordinate with KSA project teams, consultants, clients, BIM, ICT, Electrical, MEP, Procurement and Commercial teams.
• Identify design risks, scope gaps, compliance issues and integration dependencies and drive them to closure.
• Lead technical workshops, design reviews and consultant/client coordination meetings.
• Support projects from Tender & Concept Design through Detailed Design, IFC/Shop Drawings, Testing, Commissioning and Handover.
• Coach and develop engineers and designers while building strong in-house technical capabilities.

Physical Security
Enterprise CCTV / VMS design and architecture.
Camera selection, FOV, pixel density, DORI and coverage calculations.
VMS architecture, servers, storage, recording, redundancy and licensing.
Access Control for doors, gates, turnstiles, elevators and restricted areas.
Controller/panel architecture, readers, locks, REX, emergency release and power calculations.
Perimeter Security & Intrusion Detection.
Security gates, barriers, bollards, vehicle screening and related interfaces.
Security intercom, help points, emergency phones and duress systems.
PSIM / Command & Control integration and alarm workflows.
Fire Alarm & Life Safety
Addressable fire alarm systems and network architecture.
Fire alarm loops, devices, panels, modules and notification systems.
Loop loading, voltage drop, power supply and battery calculations.
Cause & Effect and integration with HVAC, BMS, elevators, access control, smoke control, fire pumps and emergency power.
Fire alarm zoning, graphics, redundancy and fire command-centre requirements.
Compliance with applicable Saudi Civil Defence / SBC / NFPA / EN standards.

üéì REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Communications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related discipline.
• 12+ years of relevant Physical Security / ELV / Fire Alarm engineering experience.
• 4–5+ years in a Senior Lead, Discipline Lead or Engineering Management role is strongly preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience in enterprise CCTV/VMS and Access Control.
• Fire Alarm design experience is mandatory.
• Proven experience with large-scale / mega projects and complex multi-building developments.
• Experience in consultant design review, tender, IFC, shop drawings and construction-stage coordination.
• KSA / GCC mega-project experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of security and life-safety integration.
• Strong written and spoken English.

Experience with platforms such as Genetec, Milestone, LenelS2, Johnson Controls/Tyco, Honeywell, Avigilon, Axis, Bosch, Hanwha or equivalent is highly valued.
Fire Alarm experience with Honeywell/Notifier, Siemens, Edwards/EST, Johnson Controls/Tyco, Bosch or equivalent systems is also highly valued.
üìú PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS
• ASIS PSP or equivalent security credential
• NFPA 72 training / Fire Alarm Design certification
• Manufacturer certifications in VMS, Access Control or Fire Alarm
• Networking certifications
• PMP / Project Management training
üåç KSA PROJECT EXPOSURE
Experience supporting or delivering projects in Saudi Arabia / GCC is a strong advantage, particularly exposure to:
• Saudi Building Code
• Saudi Civil Defence requirements
• HCIS / MOI / Royal Commission requirements
• PIF or other major KSA project requirements
• Consultant / Authority approval processes
