Role Description The People Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Sharm El Sheikh, responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing learning and development initiatives for all hotel team members. This role manages training needs analysis, develops annual training plans, and coordinates internal and external training programs aligned with brand standards and operational goals. The People Development Manager supports performance management processes, identifies high-potential employees, and drives succession planning to ensure a strong talent pipeline for key positions. Day-to-day activities include facilitating workshops, coaching supervisors and managers on people development practices, monitoring training effectiveness through metrics and feedback, and maintaining accurate training records. The role collaborates closely with HR and department leaders to foster an engaging, inclusive work environment where team members can advance their careers and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Qualifications
- * Candidates should possess strong skills in People Development and Training & Development, with experience designing and delivering learning programs.
- Candidates should possess skills in Succession Planning and Performance Management, with the ability to build talent pipelines and support continuous performance improvement.
- Candidates should possess practical experience in Training facilitation, including conducting workshops, onboarding sessions, and operational skills training.
- Experience in hospitality or service-oriented industries, ideally within luxury or resort environments, is highly beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and partner effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in using HR and learning management systems, as well as standard office software, to manage training content, reporting, and documentation.
- Proven ability to work in a multicultural environment, demonstrating cultural awareness, inclusivity, and respect for diverse backgrounds.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Education, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
