North Cafe is looking for a full-time Pastry Chef to join our team in Lusail!
The role will be responsible for preparing and producing a range of pastries, desserts, and baked items for the café, while maintaining consistent quality, presentation, and food safety standards.
The ideal candidate should have previous pastry experience, be comfortable working in a café environment, and be able to manage daily production efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare pastries, desserts, and baked items for daily service
- Maintain consistent quality, taste, and presentation
- Follow recipes and portion standards
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the kitchen
- Monitor ingredients and support stock and prep planning
- Work closely with the café team to support daily operations and new menu items
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role
- Experience in a hotel or café is highly preferred
- Valid Qatar Health Certificate is mandatory
- Must currently be based in Qatar
- Good understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene
- Reliable, organised, and able to work as part of a team
