First, what this role is NOT
This is not a marketing role.
It is not social media management, content creation, performance marketing, advertising, community management, or running marketing campaigns.
This is also not a lead generation role where your job ends with building lists, finding contact details, scraping databases, or sending a high volume of automated messages.
And it is not traditional account management where you only manage existing client relationships.
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone who knows how to understand a business and develop a market around it.
Someone who can look at a client and understand:
- What does this business actually sell?
- Who should be buying it?
- How does its target market work?
- Which companies should we be speaking to?
- Who are the decision-makers and other stakeholders that matter?
- Why would they care?
- What is the right commercial angle to approach them with?
- How do we turn that approach into a conversation?
- What needs to happen next to move that conversation forward?
You will research markets and companies, identify and map the right decision-makers, understand their context, and then personally initiate B2B conversations through LinkedIn, email, WhatsApp, calls, events, and other relevant channels.
But contacting people is only part of the job.
You will follow up, qualify opportunities, prepare and secure meetings, manage conversations, keep the CRM and pipeline accurate, re-engage prospects when necessary, and continuously understand what is working, what isn't, and why.
We are looking for someone who can combine:
Business understanding + Market research + Stakeholder intelligence + B2B outreach + Relationship development + Pipeline management
You don't need to come from one specific job title.
You may currently be working in business development, sales development, B2B sales, account development, market development, partnerships, commercial research, lead generation, or another client-facing commercial role.
What matters to us is that you have actually done the work:
Understand the business → Research the market → Find the right people → Start conversations → Follow up → Qualify → Create opportunities → Move the pipeline forward.
We are looking for someone who is curious enough to understand different businesses, commercial enough to recognize an opportunity, confident enough to start a conversation with a senior decision-maker, and organized enough to make sure no opportunity gets lost.
