Job DescriptionThe role serves as the primary liaison between Tuboscope, customers/JV and suppliers to ensure efficient project execution, quality compliance, inventory management, revenue reporting, and customer satisfaction.
ResponsibilitiesCustomer & Project CoordinationServe as Tuboscope's primary representative in-country for Tuboscope products.
Manage communications with customers/JV regarding project execution and operational requirements.
Coordinate and communicate technical, commercial, quality, and operational matters related to ongoing
projects.
Receive, acknowledge, and monitor purchase orders and customer requirements.
Coordinate upcoming production plans and delivery schedules with customer/JV and internal teams.
Submit invoices and support customer/JV payment follow-up activities.
Lead quarterly performance and metrics review meetings with JV.
Inventory, Production & Supply Chain ManagementMonitor daily inventory levels, production output, and material consumption.
Forecast material requirements.
Coordinate spare parts and plant consumable requirements.
Manage material receiving transactions and inventory records within JDE.
Liaise with suppliers regarding RFQs, material availability, lead times, and logistics arrangements.
Support procurement activities by evaluating supplier capabilities and delivery performance.
Maintain visibility of production and sales backlogs and communicate risks proactively.
Financial & Commercial ReportingPrepare and manage accrual and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) reporting.
Prepare monthly revenue flash reports.
Develop revenue forecasts and business performance projections.
Support internal financial reporting requirements and business reviews.
Assist inside sales teams during SOX audits and compliance reviews.
Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC)Perform material receiving inspections and ensure compliance with specifications.
Prepare and submit monthly quality metrics reports.
Raise and manage Management of Change (MOC) documentation.
Initiate Quality Action Requests (QAR) and Corrective Action Requests (CAR) for non-conformances. Investigate, track, and close quality-related issues and corrective actions.
Ensure Quality Management System (QMS) documentation remains current and aligned with standard
RequirementsConduct supplier evaluations and periodic re-evaluations.
Maintain risk registers and coordinate contingency planning activities.
Review quality records including training records, calibration certificates, maintenance reports,
production reports, and NCRs.
Support implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System.
Training & Technical SupportWillingness to be trained in various disciplines related to Oman operations. Willing to travel outside Oman (GCC countries when required.
Demonstrated ability to work independently or in a team environment that requires quick turnaround and
quality output; Ability to remain flexible and adapt to the needs of the organization; Ability to handle multiple
projects
simultaneously (multi-tasking) to meet goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
- * Engineering Graduate
- 3 years minimum experience
- Experience with oil and gas company with actual exposure to drilling rigs/hoist operations, industrial plant production/management and operations & QA/QC processes
- OCTG inspector Level-1, PDO HSE & Driving License holder, Good command of verbal & written English communication
- In depth experience with oild and gas fields with actual exposure to well run completions, industrial plant production/management & operations
