Global Mobility Manager – Onboarding | Egypt
We are currently supporting a confidential search for a Global Mobility Manager – Onboarding within a leading multinational organization with 45,000+ employees across multiple countries.
This is a key management position within the organization’s Shared Services Center in Egypt, responsible for leading the onboarding function and ensuring seamless, compliant and efficient delivery of global mobility and onboarding services across multiple geographies and business units.
The role will lead a team of 14 onboarding specialists/coordinators and will be responsible for service delivery, employee experience, operational excellence, stakeholder management and continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Global Mobility Onboarding function within the Shared Services Center.
- Oversee end-to-end onboarding operations across multiple countries and business units.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of onboarding activities, including documentation, pre-employment checks and HR system setup.
- Drive adherence to agreed SLAs, KPIs and service delivery standards.
- Lead and develop a team of onboarding specialists and coordinators.
- Partner closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Local HR / Fulfilment teams, Payroll, Government Services and other key stakeholders.
- Manage relationships with external mobility, visa, relocation and other service providers.
- Ensure compliance with relevant labour, immigration, visa and regulatory requirements.
- Drive standardization of onboarding processes, SOPs, workflows and documentation across supported geographies.
- Identify opportunities for automation, AI and digital transformation to improve efficiency and employee experience.
- Monitor operational performance, identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage escalations and ensure timely resolution of complex onboarding cases.
- Ensure a consistent, high-quality onboarding experience for employees across supported markets.
Ideal Profile
- 6–8+ years of experience in HR Operations, Global Mobility, Employee Lifecycle, HR Shared Services or a related field.
- Strong experience in onboarding operations, preferably within a high-volume or multinational environment.
- Previous experience working within a Shared Services Center / Global Business Services / HR Operations environment is highly preferred.
- Proven experience managing and developing teams.
- Experience supporting multiple countries, geographies or business units.
- Strong understanding of employee onboarding, mobility processes and the broader employee lifecycle.
- Strong experience managing SLAs, KPIs, service delivery and operational performance.
- Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills.
- Strong process improvement and standardization mindset.
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors or other HRIS / onboarding technologies is preferred.
- Strong communication, problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Excellent command of English; Arabic is a plus.
