What you’ll do
- Lead the Odoo implementation across [Manufacturing, Inventory, Purchase, Sales, Point of Sale, Accounting, Quality, Maintenance], working with each department to map how they work and configure the system to match
- Set up manufacturing: recipes as bills of materials, work centers, routings, and production planning
- Configure inventory for food: lot tracking, expiry dates, first-expired-first-out picking, and warehouse locations including cold storage
- Make sure we can trace any finished product back to its raw material lots, and forward to the customers who received it
- Set up product costing so we know the true cost of each product, including ingredients, packaging, labor, and waste
- Manage master data (products, suppliers, customers, units of measure) and lead data migration from our current systems
- Build the reports and dashboards management needs for production, stock, purchasing, and sales
- Train staff, write simple user guides, and act as first-line support for all Odoo users
- Monitor the system daily, fix configuration problems, manage user access, and test updates before they go live
- Coordinate with our Odoo partner or developers on any customization, and write clear requirements for them
What we’re looking for
- At least 3 years of hands-on Odoo experience, including at least one full implementation where you were directly responsible for configuration
- Strong experience with Odoo Manufacturing and Inventory; experience in food, beverage, or other process manufacturing is a strong plus
- Good understanding of business processes from purchasing through production and sales, plus basic accounting
- Experience with Egyptian Tax Authority e-invoicing/e-receipt integration in Odoo is a strong plus
- Ability to use Odoo Studio and built-in configuration to meet business needs without custom code
- Experience writing clear functional requirements for developers when customization is needed
- Clear communicator who can train non-technical staff in Arabic and work with documentation in English
- Bachelor’s degree in business information systems, engineering, accounting, or a related field
