Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Pharmacy Assistant at Dar Al Ajaza Hospital, located in Beirut. The Pharmacy Assistant will support daily pharmacy operations, including preparing and labeling prescriptions, managing inventory, assisting with patient service, and maintaining accurate documentation. Effective communication with patients and healthcare staff and ensuring adherence to medical and safety protocols are core responsibilities of this role.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong pharmacy-related skills, including basic knowledge of Pharmacy operations and safe handling of medications.
- Candidates should possess skills in processing and reviewing Prescription information accurately under appropriate supervision.
- Candidates should possess Inventory Management skills, including tracking stock, rotating supplies, and supporting timely ordering.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service and Phone Etiquette skills to interact professionally and respectfully with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or certification in pharmacy assisting.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow established procedures and regulatory guidelines are important.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Previous experience in a hospital, clinic, or community pharmacy setting is preferred.
