The Civil Engineering Program Invites Applicants For Part-time Teaching Positions In Byblos Campus For The Spring 2027 Semester (from January 14, 2026 To April 29, 2027 Plus The Final Exam). We Are Seeking Highly Qualified And Motivated Faculty Member To Teach The Following Course
CIE510 Finite Element Method [3–0, 3 cr.]. Stress analysis of solids: shape function, displacement interpolation, linear constitutive relations, element stiffness-matrix, direct stiffness method, assessment of model adequacy, error estimation. Stress analysis using commercial software. Pre-requisite: CIE202 Mechanics of Materials and Fourth-year standing.
Qualifications: The applicant must have obtained a PhD degree in Civil Engineering or a related field by the time of appointment.
Applicants must have good oral and written English communication skills. Priority will be given to applicants with prior teaching experience or relevant work experience.
