We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Security Engineer to join our team and support the design, implementation, operation, and security of enterprise network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network security infrastructure.
- Configure and manage Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), including Palo Alto Networks PAN-OS, Fortinet FortiGate, or equivalent solutions.
- Monitor and secure network traffic to identify unauthorized access, vulnerabilities, and cyber threats.
- Manage SSL VPN, IPsec VPN, and secure remote access solutions.
- Configure and maintain IDS/IPS solutions to detect and prevent malicious activities.
- Implement secure network segmentation, DMZ architecture, VLANs, and access controls.
- Perform firewall rule reviews, optimization, and access-control validation.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation activities.
- Monitor security logs and integrate network security devices with SIEM platforms.
- Investigate cybersecurity incidents and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Harden network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless controllers.
- Support Zero Trust Architecture and secure access principles.
- Review network architecture to ensure compliance with applicable cybersecurity standards.
- Coordinate with infrastructure, server, and application teams to secure enterprise services.
- Maintain cybersecurity documentation, SOPs, technical procedures, and network security records.
- Support Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity requirements for network security infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot complex network security issues and provide Level 2/3 technical support.
- Coordinate with security vendors and manage technical escalations when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Network Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Network Security Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto, FortiGate, or equivalent enterprise firewall technologies.
- Strong knowledge of VPN, IDS/IPS, network segmentation, DMZ, VLANs, and access control.
- Experience with SIEM integration, security monitoring, vulnerability management, and incident investigation.
- Good understanding of Zero Trust security principles.
- Strong troubleshooting capabilities in complex enterprise network environments.
- Experience providing L2/L3 support for network security infrastructure.
- Strong documentation, analytical, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Saudi National, in alignment with NCA requirements.
Preferred Certifications
- CCNP Security
- PCNSE – Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer
- Fortinet Certified Professional / relevant Fortinet certification
- CompTIA Security+
- Relevant Network Security or Cybersecurity certifications are an advantage.
