Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist

OverviewYou will build the measurement backbone that proves the impact of programs on Catalyst and the credibility of startup data on Startup Gate — turning raw activity into evidence that informs decisions across the ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Design M&E frameworks, logframes, theories of change, and KPI libraries for client programs.
- Build data collection instruments (surveys, interviews, dashboards) inside Catalyst workspaces.
- Validate, clean, and analyze program and startup data; surface insights for clients and leadership.
- Produce impact reports for governments, donors, and corporate partners.
- Define and maintain the verified metrics layer powering Startup Gate's deal flow.
Requirements
- * 3–5+ years in M&E, research, or data analysis — preferably in entrepreneurship, development, or impact investing.
- Hands-on experience with surveys, KPIs, logframes, and impact reporting standards.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills; comfort with Excel/Sheets and BI tools.
- Excellent writing skills in English; Arabic strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's or Master's in economics, statistics, social sciences, or related.
