As the MIS / Management Reporting & Planning Lead, you will be responsible for delivering management information (MI), financial performance reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis that supports executive decision-making. Working closely with Finance, Business, and Executive stakeholders, you'll play a key role in producing management packs, analysing financial performance, supporting planning activities, and providing the insights that help shape strategic decisions from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare management reports, executive dashboards, and Board MI.
- Analyse financial performance, key trends, variances, and business drivers.
- Deliver insightful commentary and recommendations to senior management.
- Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Develop financial models, business cases, and scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives.
- Partner with stakeholders across the organisation to explain financial results and performance trends.
- Build scalable management reporting processes, KPIs, and reporting frameworks.
- Contribute to the development of a modern, data-driven finance function.
Requirements:
- Experience in FP&A, Management Reporting, MIS, Business Finance, or Financial Planning.
- Banking experience is essential.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and interpret financial performance.
- Experience preparing reports and presentations for senior management and executive stakeholders.
- Ability to clearly explain financial results to audiences that are not from a finance background.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of business performance drivers.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline preferred.
