Manage and maintain middleware technologies that facilitate communication and data management between different applications and services. Both internal and external to the organization
Responsibilities
Responsible for install, configuring, and managing MQ, middleware and Gateway systems.
Responsible for managing different layers of integration
Strong working knowledge of IBM APP Connect, IBM API Connect, and IBM MQ
Responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and monitoring APIs
Monitor server and system performance and maintain detailed documentation about APIs, system configurations and settings.
Knowledge and ability to work with different databases
Strong communication and problem-solving skills and are able to work and collaborate well with teams.
Offering support to clients regarding onboarding requests as well as maintaining platform availability through both proactive and reactive actions
Support guidance in delivery and deployment lifecycle of APIs
Strong working knowledge of SOAP and REST APIs. Strong knowledge of Microservices
Provide 24x7 Support and support for weekend activities like Patching, Upgrade, Implementation, DR Drills, etc.
Ability to provide consultations in all phases of development, integration and design. Ability to develop conceptual and detail API designs
Qualifications
Bachelors in Computer Science
Certification in IBM ACE and IBM API Connect is recommended
Experience
IBM APP Connect Enterprise (ACE)
IBM API Connect
IBM MQ
Microservices
Working knowledge on databases will be an advantage
