Role Description The Mechanical Procurement Team Leader Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Egypt. This role is responsible for leading the mechanical procurement function, including sourcing, evaluating, and selecting suppliers for mechanical materials, equipment, and services. Daily activities include reviewing technical specifications, coordinating with engineering and project teams, preparing and issuing RFQs, analyzing quotations, and negotiating prices and terms to meet project budgets and timelines. The role also involves monitoring supplier performance, ensuring quality and compliance with standards, overseeing inspections of mechanical items, and maintaining accurate procurement records. The Mechanical Procurement Team Leader Engineer will collaborate closely with maintenance, construction, and industrial operations to support efficient project delivery and continuous improvement of procurement processes.
