About The RoleWe're hiring a Master Planner to own demand planning, S&OP, and the master production schedule (MPS) for ADRobotics.
This role sits at the top of the Planning pillar, converting commercial forecasts and business targets into an aggregate production plan and macro schedule. It sets the direction the Planner executes against at the MRP and sequencing level, and provides Operations leadership with visibility into schedule attainment, forecast accuracy, and macro capacity risk.
You will work closely with Commercial, Finance, Manufacturing Engineering, and the Planner to align demand, supply, and capacity, and to keep the master schedule realistic and current as the business scales.
Key Responsibilities
- * Own and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS), translating demand forecasts and commercial input into an executable, capacity-realistic aggregate plan.
- Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, aligning demand, supply, and financial plans across Operations and Commercial leadership on a regular cadence.
- Maintain a rolling demand forecast, incorporating actual order/sales data, and reconcile forecast accuracy over time.
- Analyze macro-level capacity constraints (labor, equipment, key long-lead materials) and flag risks to Operations leadership well ahead of impact.
- Direct and align the Planner(s) on execution priorities derived from the MPS, ensuring the macro plan and MRP-level execution stay consistent.
- Own top-level ERP planning configuration (demand forecast models, planning horizons, master scheduling rules) supporting accurate downstream planning.
- Report on schedule attainment, forecast accuracy, and inventory/capacity strategy to the Director/VP of Operations.
- Support new product introduction at the macro level (ramp curves, capacity build-up plans) in coordination with Manufacturing Engineering and the Planner.
Requirements
- * 6+ years of experience in master scheduling, demand planning, S&OP, or supply chain planning leadership, preferably in a manufacturing, hardware, or start-up/scale-up environment; robotics/hardware exposure is a plus.
- UAE experience preferred, with familiarity with local demand and supply chain dynamics.
- Proven experience owning or leading an S&OP process and translating demand forecasts into a master production schedule.
- Strong ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, or similar) for demand planning and master scheduling modules.
- Strong analytical and cross-functional communication skills, comfortable presenting schedule and forecast risk to senior leadership.
- Experience directing or aligning downstream planners/schedulers around a single master plan.
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, early-stage, or scaling business environments.
Education And Certifications
- * Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree a plus.
- APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM or CSCP) or equivalent considered an advantage.
- Proficiency in ERP and demand-planning/master-scheduling tools (e.g., SAP APO/IBP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Excel-based S&OP modeling.
