This is an exciting opportunity to lead the pre-opening and launch marketing strategy for a new destination combining F&B, retail, health and wellness, and office offerings. The role reports to GM.
The destination will bring together a curated mix of F&B, retail, health and wellness, office and lifestyle offerings across a major new asset. The Marketing Manager will play a central role in building the destination brand, delivering the pre-opening campaign and driving footfall, customer engagement and tenant performance after launch.
This is a hands-on, commercially focused role suited to someone who can move confidently between strategy, creative development, digital marketing, events, tenant engagement and on-site execution.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and own the annual marketing strategy, activity calendar and phased budget for the destination.
- Translate the launch strategy into practical pre-opening, launch, habit-building and community campaigns.
- Build and maintain the destination’s brand positioning, tone of voice and visual identity in coordination with the owner’s brand team.
- Provide marketing input into tenant mix, leasing activity, asset positioning and commercial priorities.
- Plan and deliver the pre-opening teaser campaign, launch campaign and first eight weeks of post-opening programming.
- Manage the destination’s phased opening programme, ensuring continued public interest as different F&B, retail, wellness and office components open at different times.
- Plan and deliver launch events, seasonal campaigns, weekend and evening programming, pop-ups, markets, live entertainment and family activities.
- Own the full event lifecycle, including concepts, budgets, suppliers, production, permits, municipality approvals, on-site delivery and post-event reporting.
- Coordinate activations with Operations, Facilities Management, Security, parking and access teams to ensure safe and effective delivery.
- Develop the commercial use of common areas, including brand activations, sponsorships, digital screens and experiential spaces.
- Act as the main marketing contact for all tenants across F&B, retail, wellness and office.
- Build and manage a tenant marketing programme covering joint campaigns, cross-promotions, bundled offers, tenant openings and shared content production.
- Coordinate individual opening campaigns for each tenant and ensure that tenant activity supports, rather than competes with, the overall destination launch.
- Manage tenant offers, openings and news across the destination’s owned channels.
- Monitor tenant marketing contributions or promotional funds where applicable, including spend allocation and reporting.
- Run regular tenant marketing meetings to share the campaign calendar, gather feedback and report results.
- Own the destination’s Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, X, website, WhatsApp, CRM, Google Business Profile and map listings.
- Develop and manage the content calendar, including photography, video, short-form content and tenant-generated content.
- Lead paid digital activity, including media planning, audience targeting, budget allocation and campaign optimisation.
- Manage the influencer and creator programme, including selection, briefing, contracting, deliverables and return on investment.
- Monitor online reviews, community engagement and customer sentiment, escalating operational matters where required.
- Support the development of the customer database, CRM, loyalty or membership initiatives in line with applicable Saudi requirements.
- Scope, appoint and manage external agencies and suppliers across events, content, production, media, PR, influencer and creative services.
- Prepare agency briefs, agree deliverables, monitor timelines and ensure output meets brand, cultural and regulatory standards.
- Manage agency commercials, purchase orders, invoices, value-for-money reviews and supplier performance.
- Produce monthly reports covering footfall, campaign performance, digital metrics, tenant activity, budget and the forward marketing calendar.
- Work with Operations to ensure that footfall measurement and reporting systems are operational and accurate from launch.
- Where data is available, connect marketing activity with tenant sales performance and use the findings to guide future investment.
- Maintain accurate records of contracts, approvals, permits, budgets, creative assets and campaign results.
